Carmarthenshire County Council Dispute - Mark Evans

For two-and-a-half years Unison, Unite, and GMB have been fighting for union recognition at Carmarthenshire County Council.

The council demanded that for 18 months there could be no negotiations for 18 months on terms, conditions, and pay. It's an illusion that this issue ccould be solved by negotiation.

"We haven't lost any militancy even though little is shown by our own union leadership."
